The trainee understands what OSHAis, its role in protecting workers' health and safety, and the areas covered by its requirements (such as Fall Protection, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Recognition, and basic terminology)
The trainee knows the basic OSHA concepts and can relate them to common workplace hazards
The trainee can conduct a simple job risk assessment, identify the most common hazards in their workplace, and prioritize interventions according to the OSHA approach
The trainee can recognize basic safety requirements, such as identifying chemical hazards, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and following incident reporting procedures.
